About the Center
The Corporate Governance Center is a non-profit organization and an advocate for improving the corporate governance environment in Armenia. The Center considers an establishment of corporate governance system as an institutional prerequisite for economic democracy, which contributes to:
economic growth,
poverty reduction,
fight against corruption,
establishment of civil society.
The Center is an independent expertise platform, the mission of which is to promote the international best practices and principles of corporate governance and progress of the culture of integrity as a guarantee for viability and competitiveness of the Armenian business environment.
The Center follows the pillars of good corporate governance, which are fairness, responsibility, transparency and accountability.
The objectives of the Center are:
- creation of prerequisites necessary for the formation of efficient corporate governance practices in the private sector;
- development of professionals in the field of corporate governance;
- initiation and active participation in legal reforms and enforcement practices regulating corporate governance relationships;
- raising public awareness in the matters of corporate governance issues and modern trends;
- realization of research activities;
- promotion of local and international cooperation.

Vahe Garoyan
Tigran Karapetyan
He is an experienced specialist in Corporate Governance, Securities Market and Corporate Finance. He has over 25 years’ experience advising public and private institutions and individuals on a variety of legal and business matters, such as corporate law, finances and governance, private equity investments and venture capital, business valuation, investment management and regulatory issues.
Tigran Karapetyan is the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Capital Asset Management CJSC, a company that is managing investment and pension funds. He is a member of the Financial Times Non-Executive Directors’ Club; he has PhD in Economics from Armenian Economic Research Institute and was visiting fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School (UK) in the field of Corporate Finance. He also has over 20 years’ experience in teaching, and currently is lecturing at Yerevan State University.
Corporate Governance, Securities Market Regulation, Corporate Finance and Management are among Tigran Karapetyan’s professional interests.
Artur Kheboyan
He graduated from the Armenian State University of Economics with a degree in statistics. He has more than ten years of work experience in the field of accounting. Artur worked in the Corporate Governance Center Foundation from 2009 to 2014, and in “TK & Partners” CJSC from 2012 to 2019.
In 2019, he participated in the foundation of “FINTECH SOLUTIONS” LLC, which develops investment fund management software, and he still leads it.
Among Artur’s interests are natural sciences.

Narine Melikyan
She is an experienced professional in corporate governance, social responsibility, and anti-corruption compliance. She has more than twenty years of experience in consulting private organizations on the corporate governance and corporate law.
Narine Melikyan has led a number of research and grant projects, and she has also been involved in them as an expert. She was a member of the working group developing the RA Corporate Governance Code (2010), as well as the author and leader of the authors’ group of the revised RA Corporate Governance Code’s draft.
Narine Melikyan has two qualifications: she is an economist with her first education, and a lawyer with the second one. She is a PhD in Economics. Narine passed training courses organized by a range of prestigious international institutions (The New Economic School, Economics Education and Research Consortium, OECD, WB, IFC, ecoDa).
The scope of her professional interests includes the issues concerning corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, ESG, economic development, financial markets and investments.
Narine Melikyan is an author of more than 50 articles, as well as professional literature on corporate governance. She is a lecturer at Yerevan State University.
Narine Melikyan is a member of the board of Capital Asset Management CJSC.
She was recently named a recipient of Diligent Corporation 2020 Modern Governance 100.

Armine Khachatryan
She is an economist: she studied at the Armenian State University of Economics and Athens University of Economics and Business; she holds a master’s degree. From 2019 to 2022 she worked as a Registrar-Custodian at Capital Asset Management CJSC.
Project management, securities markets, corporate governance, financial and cryptocurrency markets are in the scope of her professional interests. She is fluent in Russian and English.

Diana Arzumanyan
Diana Arzumanyan is a governance specialist. She studied at the Yerevan State University; she has a bachelor’s degree of Governance; she is currently studying in the Master’s Program of Public Policy at the Faculty of International Relations of Yerevan State University.
The issues of corporate governance, public administration, US sanctions policy, EU foreign and security policy are in the scope of her interests. She is advanced in Russian and English.
Lusine Ghazaryan
Lusine Ghazaryan is a governance specialist. She studied at Yerevan State University: she holds a bachelor’s degree. Currently studying at Yerevan State University at the Faculty of International Relations under the Master’s program “Public Policy”.
The issues of corporate governance, interest groups, sustainable development and psychology of leadership are in the scope of her interests. She is advanced in Russian and English.
