Armenia: Empowering the Private Sector to Support Democratic Transition

The Project aims to:

  • enhance the role of Armenian business associations in public policy decision-making.
  • improve understanding of and strengthen support for anti-corruption compliance standards within the Armenian business community.

Among other measures, such as strengthening the capacity of business associations in advocacy, raising awareness of the business community on ethics and anti-corruption compliance issues, creating a fair competitive environment through dialogue between the governmental and the private sectors, the key component of the Project is the launching of anti-corruption collective actions.

The Project was implemented by the Center with the support of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE, www.cipe.org).
