PwC Armenia and Corporate Governance Center , with the common goals which concern strengthening the concept of sustainable development in the Armenian business sector, especially environmental protection, social security and good governance (ESG), to make Armenia’s investment environment attractive for constructive investments, and to boost the country’s economic growth signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) within the framework of which the joint efforts of the parties will be directed to:
- Raising awareness of the ESG concept among the business community and public in Armenia;
- Initiating and advocating for legislative changes to promote the ESG concept development;
- Implementing programmes intended to solve issues on ESG concept development.
The Center will keep its stakeholders informed of the progress of this important cooperation on a regular basis.
