On November 12, the Corporate Governance Center and National Institute of Standards jointly presented the ISO 37000:2021, Governance of Organizations standard within the framework of the Business Integrity Club. It was published by International Organization for Standardization on September 14, 2021, and it comprises the 11 principles of good governance, which basically are the comprehensive explanation of the G component of ESG.
In addition to the members of the Business Integrity Club, the participants of the “Armenian Women on the Board of Directors” network, as well as representatives of the state and public sectors interested in the issue took part in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting had an opportunity to learn about the essence of the ISO 37000:2021 standard, the trends reflected in it, as well as the advantages and outcomes of the practical application of good governance principles.
The Corporate Governance Center has developed a material named “10 Questions and Answers about ISO 37000:2021”, which clarifies the essence of the Standard.
