Armenia: Women on Boards

On June 7, the Corporate Governance Center launched the “Women on the Board of Directors” extraordinary training in Armenia.

The program of the training is available here.

The training aims to promote the representation of women members and the women’s involvement in economic decision-making in the Board of Directors of Armenian companies.

About 40 women are registered to participate in the training, who are representatives of both the private and public sectors.

The training is organized within the “Armenia. Women on the Board of Directors” project supported by the Center for International Private Enterprise (www.cipe.org).

Other Project activities are:

  • Conducting an expert survey on “Women on the Board of Directors”,
  • Invitation of the round table on “Women on the Board of Directors”,
  • Development of an e-guide on “Women on the Board of Directors”,

Establishment of a network for acting and potential female members of the Board of Directors.
