“Party Funding and Private Sector Anti-Corruption Compliance” Seminar

On July 3, the Corporate Governance Center convened the “Party Funding and Private Sector Anti-Corruption Compliance” seminar, which aimed to inform the representatives of the business community about the structures of party funding in Armenia, legal restrictions and measures of responsibility and coercion, to keep them away from possible corruption risks and promote anti-corruption compliance in the business sector. From the viewpoint of the parties’ activity, including the transparency of financial management, a special reference was made to the legal requirement of external audit and the problems of its law enforcement.

The seminar was conducted by Hasmik Tigranyan, Senior Political Finance/Legal Officer at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).

At the end of the seminar, the participants received answers to the questions they were interested in and highly appreciated the accessible and professional presentation of the topic.
