The Corporate Governance Center and the Corruption Prevention Commission, continuing their efforts to promote good governance practices in state-owned enterprises (SOEs), organised the “Corruption Risk Assessment in SOEs” seminar on April 10.
The seminar was delivered by Ekaterina Lysova, Program Director for Anticorruption & Governance at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
During the seminar, the speaker addressed the potential benefits and mechanisms for fostering a culture of integrity in SOEs. She outlined the key steps for developing an anti-corruption compliance program (Program), emphasising corruption risk assessment as a cornerstone of an effective Program.
The speaker also facilitated active discussions with the participants.
According to their feedback, the seminar provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the issues presented.
The seminar was held in collaboration with the Center for International Private Enterprise and as part of the ”Responding to Threats of Corrosive Capital in Armenia. Phase III” project, funded by the UK International Development from the UK government.
