“Corruption Risks Assessment in Companies” seminar

The Corporate Governance Center, continuing its efforts aimed at raising awareness of the representatives of the business community about integrity and anti-corruption compliance, organized the “Assessment of Corruption Risks in Companies” seminar on January 27, 2023.

Corruption risk assessment is a key step in having a functioning anti-corruption compliance program and continuously improving it.

The urgency of the Seminar is also due to the provisions of the RA Criminal Code on the criminal liability of legal entities, which came into force on January 1, 2023. The Code provides liability for legal entities, including for corruption crimes. An effective anti-corruption compliance program can be an important means of preventing corruption crimes and exempting from liability.

The Seminar was organized within the framework of the “Europe and Eurasia Regional: Creating Enabling Environments for Constructive Capital in Europe and Eurasia – Phase IV” project.
