The “Integrity in the private sector” round table

On July 1, the Corporate Governance Center hosted a roundtable discussion on “Integrity in the Private Sector”.

During the round table, Ekaterina Lysova, Program Director in Europe & Eurasia at CIPE, covered the role of businesses in fighting corruption, the practice of collective business initiatives, and the importance of fostering a culture of integrity as the most significant factor in preventing corruption.

Narine Melikyan, Director of the Corporate Governance Center, presented the accomplishments and challenges of the Business Integrity Club, while the Club participants shared their experiences and concerns regarding various forms of corruption in Armenia and means to combat them. Additionally, partners from Kazakhstan shared their own experiences and challenges.
Towards the end of the round table, the Center and the Club expressed their willingness to support partners from Kazakhstan in establishing a similar framework.
