“Succession Planning in Family-Owned Businesses” Test-Guide

Succession planning is one of the most painful issues for family companies. It is often overlooked because the company’s owners go this way for the first time and do not have the relevant knowledge and experience, family representation in the company is considered a given reality forever, therefore, the importance of the process is underestimated. One can continue to enumerate the reasons, but this will not change the situation.

Taking into account that most Armenian companies are family-owned, and succession planning is of strategic importance not only for the resilience of companies but also for the economic system, the Corporate Governance Center has developed and presents to you the “Succession Planning in Family-Owned Businesses” test guide, which is available here.

We will be happy to answer your questions about the management of family companies.

The “Challenges of Succession” guide of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Energy of the Province of Quebec, Canada, was used in the development of the “Succession Planning in Family Companies” test guide.
