Presentation of the “Corporate Governance in Family-Owned Businesses” Research Results

Family-owned businesses contribute to over 70% of the global GDP and account for approximately 60% of global employment. Globally, family-owned businesses comprise 80-90% of the private sector.

In Armenia’s economic landscape, family-owned businesses also play a significant role.

Corporate governance issues in family-owned businesses are part of the Corporate Governance Center’s agenda. Over the past decade, the Center has conducted the “Corporate Governance in Family-Owned Businesses” research for the second time through surveys. The results of the latest Research were presented during an event held on December 13, comparing them to the findings of the 2014 Research.
