Masterclass on Board Assessments

On May 10, 2022, the Corporate Governance Center hosted a masterclass on Board Assessments, conducted by Hagen Schweinitz, Practice Leader of the Global Board Practice at Eric Salmon & Partners, the International Leadership and Governance Advisory Firm.

During the masterclass, the speaker made a special reference to the motives for the board assessment, to international experience by clarifying a number of key aspects related to the assessment in different countries. He presented the methodology of the board assessment in detail, emphasized the role of those responsible for the assessment process, as well as the need for and scope of accountability.

The masterclass ended with Q&A and exchange of impressions. The attendees of the event had a chance to express their satisfaction of the masterclass content, style of the presentation and professional approaches of the speaker.

About 50 people took part in the masterclass, including the participants of the Business Integrity Club, “Armenian Women on the Board of Directors” network and other stakeholders. Partners from abroad were also hosted during the event.

The masterclass was organized within the “Center for Women’s Economic Empowerment: Promoting Women Leaders Globally in Economic Recovery, 2021-2022” project of the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
